As a fantastic addition to this already spectacular event, the Down Town Merchants Association,and the Kingman Route 66 Association bring you "KSD VI Block Party & Car Show".The addition of this show to this years "Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI" is bringing this event to an even higher level of Motorsports entertainment.
On Saturday morning at 10am when the "Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI" starts, so to will the full day of "KSD VI Block Party and Car Show".
All Car Show entrants will park from the end of the race track between 2nd Street and 3rd Street all the way down Beale Street to 7th Street.
Entry is just $10 per vehicle and the show is open to any and all vehicles.
Cars ,Trucks,motorcycles,boats,planes,we love them all, bring out your projects or your million dollar Street Rods. This is a Motorsports Extravaganza that everyone should be a part of.
Speaking of motorcycles this year Performance Specialists is proud to be a part of this historic event as the sponsor of the motorcycle show of the KSD VI Block Party a new addition to the Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI. Come out and be a part of Kingman’s biggest Motorsports event ever, and register for the Bike Show contest with awards and prizes. Trophies will be awarded by Thomas Kelly from Performance Specialist for, Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and many other special awards for various categories with over $500 in other gifts and prizes.
You can preregister for the show on line at www.kingmanstreetdrags.com or on the day of the show at the registration booth located at the corner of Beale St. and Fourth St.
Performance Specialists will have a booth set up by the designated bike show area. You can stop by and take a look at the awesome trophy’s up for grabs. Kelly will lead in the judging of bikes, the trophies will be awarded Saturday evening at 9 pm on the Stage at the corner of 4th St. and Beale St.
For those of you who may not know Performance Specialists it’s the area’s authorized Big Dog and Confederate motorcycles dealer and Kingman’s newest Harley repair and full-service machine shop and is proud to be the sponsor for the motorcycle class of the first ever KSD VI Block Party at the Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI. Performance Specialists has become the place to go for anyone needing top quality work on their bikes and Route 66 Wings and Wheels is proud to have them on board as part of this year’s event.
For the automotive enthusiast the “Car Show” will be brought to you by the “Down Town Merchants Association” and the “Route 66 Association of Kingman”. It’s open to any and all entrants. The cost is $10 to “Power Park” in the middle of the largest motorsport event ever held in Mohave County. Bring your ride down and display it while enjoying a full day of Drag Racing and entertainment that would make any city proud. You can pre register at www.kingmanstreetdrags.com or you may enter at the event. Either way it’s a great addition to an already spectacular event. There will be prizes awarded for the “people’s choice”, voted on by you the participants. That will be $300 for first, $150 for second and $50 for third place. Many other organizations are joining in on the awards and you will be notified at the event if you would want to participate.
This will be the biggest event ever held in Down Town Kingman don't miss your opportunity to be a part of it.
There will be vendors and arts and crafts and even a Beer Garden.The evening will be topped off by a live concert from the band "Craig Tyson" right on Beale Street.
Awards for all classes will be given during the intermission of the concert at 9pm.
