It is a sad day when we have to announce that the 2010 Kingman Street Drags will not happen.
With the school under construction there is no way to work the event in conjunction with it.
Many people have contacted us from all over the United States asking for the event dates for this year.
Plans are to come back in 2011 should the school construction allow it.
We continue to strive to acquire the property for the permanent facility and who knows maybe we can focus on that more and make it a reality soon.

On Thursday the 17th of September we will hold our Mandatory Volunteer meeting in conjunction with a special pre event party hosted by Chuy's.
We would like to have a select few race cars for display if that is some thing your interested in please contact me at (928) 279-9845 space is limited.Public parking will be in the lot in the rear of the the restaurant.All space in front will be reserved for the party and race car display.

This year once again we are proud to announce we will be raffling off a brand new Snap On Tool box and as an added bonus it will be loaded with tools for a value of over $5000.00 to the lucky winner. Winner does not need to be present to win. But if you are the winner and your present at the drawing you will also receive a $200 Bomber style Snap On jacket. Wow is all I can say..........

As a fantastic addition to this already spectacular event, the Down Town Merchants Association,and the Kingman Route 66 Association bring you "KSD VI Block Party & Car Show".The addition of this show to this years "Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI" is bringing this event to an even higher level of Motorsports entertainment.
On Saturday morning at 10am when the "Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI" starts, so to will the full day of "KSD VI Block Party and Car Show".

Deadline for advertising in the last one Tri State Motor News magazines that is the program dedicated to the Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI is September 5th.

As of June first 2009 Route 66 Wings and Wheels Inc. at there monthly board of Directors meeting voted on and passed a motion to start a Competition Membership Association.

Its official, September 18,19,and 20, 2009 downtown Kingman will again be turned into the "Worlds Largest Legal Street Drags".
If last year is a sign of what to expect this year, then participants and spectators alike better get here early. We had a record 246 participants last year and the weekend crowd was estimated at over 15,000 spectators.

Coca-Cola to be the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage purchased and served at the event including soft drinks, water, energy drinks and POWERade.

Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI is Route 66 Wings and Wheels Inc. largest fund raiser of the year. Our goal of building a multifaceted motor sports facility is driven by the funds and desires generated by this annual event. No the funds from this event are not so generous as to really pay for the facility by themselves, but they do keep us moving in a very positive direction and more so the event keeps us fresh in the communities mind and exposes us to new residents who have not had the chance to join our cause.
